founder and president of Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes is John MacDougall.
John has been in the convenience store business for over 30 years. He
is an active, working president, and you are likely to meet him at any
time in the stores. If it is very busy, he is likely to come behind
the register to help you. His commitment to customer service runs throughout
this entire organization.
Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes has come a very long way in a very short
time.
Many people misunderstand exactly who we are.
Some, in areas where we don't have many stores, think we are a small
company. In other places, where there seems to be a store on every corner,
many think we are nationwide.
We are really somewhere in between. Founded in 1980, the company was
incorporated on February 29th. The first store called Nice N Easy Grocery
Shoppes opened its doors on the 1st of April. While some may find that
having the two most important days in your history being Leap Year and
April Fool's Day to be a challenge, we believe it only shows that nothing
was going to stop us from being successful!
